Dr. Ames’s practice is limited to Orthopedic Surgery. His focus is on general orthopedic surgery with a special interest in joint replacement.

He earned his undergraduate and medical degrees at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan with postgraduate work / residency at Mt. Carmel Mercy Hospital in Detroit.

He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Wright State University School of Medicine.

He has been with Far Oaks Orthopedists since 1989 and is a team physician for the Dayton Dragons and Chaminade Julienne High School.

He is on staff at Kettering Medical Center.

Practice limited to Orthopaedic Surgery with a special interest in joint replacement.

Dr. Forster is a native of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He graduated from McGill University Medical School and subsequently undertook his orthopaedic residency at the Montreal General Hospital.

He received additional training in joint replacement while undertaking a fellowship in England. He served as an overseas registrar at both the Princess Elizabeth Orthopaedic Hospital, and the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital in Exeter, England.

He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is also Board Certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and a Clinical Instructor in Family Practice at Wright State University School of Medicine.

Dr. Forster is Medical Director of Kettering Joint Center and a founding member of KMC Joint Center. He is on staff at the Kettering Medical Center and Greater Dayton Surgery Center.

Dr. Pohl is a native of Versailles, Ohio. After high school and two years of military service he attended the University of Dayton and Marquette Medical School, and subsequently undertook his orthopedic training in San Francisco. Since then he has practiced in Dayton, with special interest in knee and hip joint resurfacing and replacements.

He is board certified by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and by the American College of Surgeons. He is an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Wright State University.

He is the inventor of the Marcaine Pain Pump and also designed a partial knee replacement system.
Dr. Pohl is a traveling lecturer and surgeon in the USA and Canada for the American Faculty of the Oxford Partial Knee.

A founding member of KMC Joint Center, he is on the staff of Kettering Medical Center.
His practice is limited to knee resurfacing/replacement, partial knee replacement, and total hip replacement.

Dr. Donigian practices as a general orthopedic surgeon with special interest in shoulder surgery, sports medicine and total joint replacement. He graduated from U.S.U.H.S, F Edward Herbert School of Medicine, Bethesda MD, and did his residency at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center, Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopedic surgery at Wright State School of Medicine and for the U.S.U.H.S Department of Surgery.

Dr. Donigian is a retired Air Force Colonel with 25 years of military service. He is a member of the Dayton Orthopedic Society, the Ohio Orthopedic Society and is an active fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He joined Far Oaks Orthopedists in July 2004 and is on staff at Kettering Medical Center, Sycamore Hospital, Soin Medical Center, and Specialty Surgical Care Surgery Center.

Dr. Dunaway’s practice is limited to Orthopedic Surgery. He practices as a general orthopedic surgeon with a special focus on total joint replacement. Dr. Kleinhenz is a native of Ohio, born in St. Mary. He earned his Bachelor of Science in pre-medicine from Kent State University in 1977, where he was Phi Beta Kappa. He completed his medical training at Wright State University in 1981. He stayed in Dayton for his orthopedic training under Dr. Hobart Klaaren at what was then the Miami Valley Hospital Orthopedic residency (now Wright State University) which he completed in 1986. Near the end of this training he spent time in Germany, gaining an international perspective on orthopedics. He returned to Dayton in 1986 to join Far Oaks Orthopedists Inc. and he has remained here to raise four children with his wife. Dr. Kleinhenz is active in the orthopedic community and is a member of the Dayton Orthopedic Society, the Ohio Orthopedic Society, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery. He is also an Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopedics at the Wright State Department of Orthopedics. He is board certified and is on active staff at Kettering Medical Center. He maintains a strong interest in adult reconstruction (joint replacement), sports medicine (arthroscopy) and trauma (fracture care).

Dr. John Lochner is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. He obtained his undergraduate education at St. Louis University and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Honorary Society. He graduated from the St. Louis University School of Medicine, receiving his Medical Degree in 1980.

His postgraduate training included an internship in General Surgery at the Medical College of Ohio, and this was followed by his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo from 1981 to 1986.

Dr. Lochner joined Far Oaks Orthopedists Inc. in 1986. John Lochner MD is Board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Lochner is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at the Wright State University School of Medicine and is a Diplomat of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He is a member of the Dayton Orthopedic Society, the Ohio Orthopedic Society and is an active fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He is on active staff at Kettering Medical Center and Sycamore Hospital.

Dr. Melody Singer is a native of Dayton, Ohio. She is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Dayton and a graduate of the University Of Cincinnati College Of Medicine.

After completing her residency in Internal Medicine at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, she returned to Dayton and joined South Dayton Acute Care Consultants as a Hospitalist.

She has been board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine Since 1999. Her primary interest is in peri-operative medical care and she is on staff at Kettering Medical Center and LifeCare Hospitals of Dayton.

Dr. Edgar Santillan received his medical degree from University Mayor of San Simon in Cochabamba, Bolivia. He completed his externship, internship, and residency in Internal Medicine at Kettering Medical Center in Kettering, Ohio. He joined Pulmonary & Medicine of Dayton as an Internal Medicine Hospitalist in 2004. He has been a preceptor to the students of the Physician Assistant Program for the Kettering College of Medical Arts. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
